How to Apply

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas is a statutory body established by the Government of India in 2021 to manage, coordinate, and research air quality issues in Delhi-NCR and neighboring states (Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh). It holds overriding powers to issue directions, enforce penalties for pollution, and implement air quality management plans.

The Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas is hereby inviting the Applications for empanelment of Advocates to represent the Commission before Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble Delhi High Court, NGT (Principal Bench), Delhi and CAT (Principal Bench), Delhi.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law conferred by a University recognized by the Bar Council of India and should be enrolled as an advocate under the provisions of The Advocates Act, 1961.
  • Specialization in environment related subject, e.g., Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate.

The eligible practicing Advocates may send their application in the prescribed format (annexed) along with all the supporting documents (scanned) through email to “vaibhav.kandpal@gov.in and/or vishal.tripathi019@gov.in”. No hard-copy of the Application shall be entertained.
