MARG is a forerunner in the field of access to justice and legal empowerment. Since 1985, the organisation has been engaged in empowering disadvantaged and marginalized groups through legal awareness, socio-legal research, advocacy initiatives, and legal aid. MARG works at both grassroots and policy-making levels.

  • Ensure effective implementation of project activities by developing plans aligned with project goals.
  • Provide leadership to grassroots young lawyers and strengthen Community Justice Workers through co-mentoring and capacity building for public interest lawyering.
  • Facilitate socio-legal programmes for marginalized communities, especially for the empowerment of women and children.
  • Monitor project progress through data collection, analysis, and reporting to enable timely course corrections.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and/or Master’s degree in Social Work/Social Sciences.
  • Good understanding of women’s rights and access-to-justice mechanisms in India.
  • Experience in managing projects using an RBM framework.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Hindi.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and adaptability to complex and diverse environments.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, data analysis, word processing, and PowerPoint presentations.
