Years of Experience: 4-6 years at a major law firm and/or in-house, including drafting and reviewing commercial agreements

Qualifications: Law graduate from a reputed law school/university.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven efficiency in contract drafting and experience with legal issues related to commercial contracting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of interaction with diverse set of stakeholders at all levels, acting with substantial autonomy.
  • Action oriented and solution minded team player with high degree of self-management.
  • Focus on process-orientation and having excellent attention to detail.
  • Logical reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills/methodology.
  • Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Able to balance and prioritize multiple high priority projects.
  • Strong business acumen, and experience working in a fast-moving matrix and cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel required.

  • Support strategic sourcing efforts of the Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) team for sourcing goods and services in different jurisdictions.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate any legal risk related to sourcing goods and services using contract negotiations and drafting skills.
  • Leverage existing templates to capture applicable legal concepts .
  • Work closely with various stakeholders in different jurisdictions including but not limited to the Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) team, the local legal counsels and the group’s business in support of the sourcing contracts.
  • Act as subject matter expert regarding the legal related matters in contracts under dispute.
