Advising R&D, engineering, and business teams on identification and protection of inventions
Conducting patent searches and technical research for patentability and competitive analysis
Managing preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications and software copyright registrations
Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsel
Providing IP counselling on collaborations, licenses, research agreements, and related transactions
Conducting IP awareness and training sessions for employees
Ensuring compliance with Indian IP laws and monitoring legislative developments
Supporting innovation management and strategic IP initiatives
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering
Preferably a Law degree with specialization in Intellectual Property
3 to 6 years of experience as a practicing IP attorney
Registered Patent Agent in India
Minimum 2 years of experience providing IP counselling to business teams
Strong understanding of patent laws and procedures
Experience in patent drafting and prosecution across multiple jurisdictions
Exposure to product IP clearances, patent investigations, and IP-related agreements
Experience in large and complex organizations preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
