The International Foundation for Crime Prevention and Victim Care (PCVC) is a Chennai-based non-profit dedicated to supporting victims of crime and advancing preventive legal frameworks. Known for its work in victim advocacy and criminal justice reform, PCVC collaborates with government bodies and NGOs to promote safer communities. This fellowship offers a unique blend of litigation and policy work, ideal for building expertise in criminal law and human rights.

  • Conduct legal research on criminal law, victim rights, and rehabilitation policies.
  • Assist in drafting petitions and legal opinions for court cases.
  • Support advocacy initiatives with community outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with senior lawyers on case strategy and client counseling.
  • Prepare reports on crime prevention policies for stakeholders.
  • Law graduates (LLB/LLM) or final-year students from recognized Indian institutions.
  • Interest in criminal law, human rights, or victim advocacy.
  • Strong research and communication skills; proficiency in English and Tamil preferred.
  • Commitment to a 2-year program; prior NGO experience is a plus.

  • Submit a CV, cover letter (500 words max), and two references via the portal.
  • Include a writing sample on a criminal law topic (800-1,000 words).
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a virtual interview by mid-October.
