About the Conference

The UNE Peace Studies Conference 2027 invites researchers, practitioners, educators and activists to explore contemporary challenges to peacebuilding and develop solutions-oriented approaches to peacemaking.

The conference will examine the interconnected challenges of war, authoritarianism, environmental collapse, technological misuse, shrinking civic space and increasing polarisation, with particular attention to communities across the Asia-Pacific, including Indigenous peoples.
