Call for Abstract: International Conference on Public Policy & Governance (ICPPG), 2026 by CPPG
About CPPG
The Centre for Public Policy & Governance (CPPG) is a specialized Research Centre of Excellence (RCoE) under the Community for Academic Research and Development (CARD), established with the vision of developing a multidisciplinary academic and research ecosystem dedicated to understanding, analysing, and strengthening public policy and governance systems. CPPG serves as a platform for research, education, policy dialogue, knowledge production, academic collaboration, institutional engagement, youth participation, and public awareness across the broad and interconnected fields of public policy and governance. The Centre recognizes that effective governance is not confined to the functioning of government institutions alone. It is a complex and evolving process shaped by law, public administration, economics, political institutions, technology, social structures, democratic participation, human rights, development, and institutional capacity. Similarly, public policy cannot be understood merely as the formulation of governmental programmes or regulations. Questions concerning policy design, implementation, accountability, transparency, public participation, evidence-based decision-making, institutional reform, service delivery, social welfare, economic development, digital governance, and sustainable development are deeply interconnected.
About the Conference
The International Conference on Public Policy & Governance (ICPPG), 2026 is a flagship international conference organised by the Centre for Public Policy & Governance (CPPG), Community for Academic Research and Development (CARD) in collaboration with the UNOSSC South-South Galaxy and the Open Government Partnership (OGP).
