Over the years, TL&D has published contributions from renowned scholars and practitioners, including WTO officials, leading academics, and experts in international trade law.

The journal has been ranked as the best law journal in India across all fields of law for seven consecutive years by Washington and Lee University School of Law rankings.

About the Special Issue

The Special Issue focuses on the growing shift in global trade policy from traditional trade liberalization towards industrial policy, strategic autonomy, economic security, and state-led development.

As governments increasingly utilize subsidies, export controls, investment screening mechanisms, domestic content requirements, and strategic industrial policies, the issue seeks to critically examine the legal, economic, and geopolitical implications of these developments for the international trading system.
