Amity Law Review (ALR), the flagship annual journal of Amity Law School, invites submissions for Volume 22. The journal welcomes original and unpublished Research Papers, Research Articles, Case Comments, and Book Reviews on contemporary legal issues. The last date for submission is August 31, 2026.
About the Journal
Amity Law Review (ALR) is a double-blind peer-reviewed/refereed journal that has been in circulation since 2000. The journal has consistently contributed to legal scholarship by publishing high-quality research on national and international legal developments across various branches of law.
The journal carries ISSN 2249-2232 and has previously been recognized as a UGC Approved Journal. ALR is published annually and is supported by an advisory editorial board comprising distinguished academicians, jurists, and legal professionals.

Categories & Word Limit
• Research Papers: 5,000–7,000 words (including footnotes)
• Notes and Case Comments: 3,000–5,000 words (including footnotes)
• Book Reviews: 1,500–2,000 words
Submission Guidelines
• Co-authorship is permitted for a maximum of two authors.
• All submissions must be accompanied by an abstract not exceeding 250 words.
• Authors should provide a maximum of five keywords.
• Manuscripts must be original and unpublished.
• Author details, affiliations, and contact information should appear only on the cover page to ensure anonymity during the review process.
Formatting Guidelines
• Language: English (British spelling and punctuation conventions).
• Main Text: Times New Roman, Font Size 12.
• Footnotes: Times New Roman, Font Size 10.
• Line Spacing: 1.5 for main text and 1.0 for footnotes.
• Left and Right Indent: 0.5 on both sides.
• Footnotes should be used instead of endnotes.
Heading Style
• First Heading: 12 pt, Bold, Centre Aligned
• Second Heading: 12 pt, Bold, Left Aligned
• Third Heading: 12 pt, Italic, Centre Aligned
