Mar Gregorios College of Law, Thiruvananthapuram, in collaboration with the Menard Family Centre for Democracy, Miami University, and the Kerala Police Academy, is inviting submissions for its International Conference on “Justice 4.0 – AI, Policing, and the Transformation of Criminal Law.”
Scheduled for 27–28 July 2026, the conference seeks to examine the impact of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies on criminal law, policing, judicial decision-making, and justice administration.
The conference aims to address key legal, ethical, and constitutional concerns arising from algorithmic governance, including issues of bias, surveillance, accountability, transparency, and the protection of fundamental rights. It also seeks to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on developing balanced and human rights-oriented regulatory frameworks for the responsible integration of AI within criminal justice systems.
