About the Journal

The Indian Journal of Law and Legal Research (IJLLR) is an open-access, bi-monthly peer-reviewed law journal with ISSN: 2582-8878. It publishes scholarly legal research from academicians, researchers, practitioners, and students across India and globally.

The journal covers law and related disciplines, encouraging interdisciplinary legal scholarship and contemporary legal analysis.

Call for Papers

IJLLR invites original, unpublished manuscripts for Volume VIII Issue II under the broad theme:

“Law & Related Disciplines”

The journal welcomes contributions addressing contemporary legal developments, doctrinal analysis, policy issues, and interdisciplinary perspectives in law and legal studies.

Who Can Submit

Submissions are invited from:

  • Academicians
  • Research Scholars
  • Lawyers and Legal Professionals
  • Law Students
  • Interdisciplinary researchers and writers interested in law

Types of Submissions

  • Long Articles: 3500–10,000 words (excluding footnotes)
  • Essays / Short Articles: 1200–3500 words (excluding footnotes)
  • Case Notes & Legislative Comments: 1200–3500 words

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions must be original and unpublished.
  • Manuscripts should not be under consideration elsewhere.
  • Abstract is mandatory for long and short articles.
  • Co-authorship up to 3 authors is permitted.
  • Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12 (main text), 10 (footnotes)
  • Line Spacing: 1.5 (text), 1.0 (footnotes)
  • Headings must follow uniform formatting
  • Citation style must be consistent (any uniform legal citation style)
  • First page must include title, author details, affiliation, and abstract
  • Second page must begin main text

Publication Charges

  • Single author: ₹800
  • Co-authored (2 authors): ₹1000
  • Co-authored (3 authors): ₹1200
  • Foreign authors: $25
