The Legal Aid Society, Faculty of Law, Integral University, Lucknow in collaboration with Jus Scriptum, is delighted to announce the inaugural edition of Vox Publica: 1st Public Interest Litigation (PIL) Drafting Competition, 2025. This competition aims to foster legal acumen and advocacy skills among law students across India, encouraging them to engage with pressing social issues through the powerful tool of Public Interest Litigation.

Theme: Promoting Social Equity Through Legal Aid and Public Interest Advocacy in Contemporary Times

Participants are encouraged to draft PILs addressing key issues such as access to justice, social and economic rights, systemic discrimination, and environmental justice. A list of suggested sub-themes is provided, though participants may choose any topic addressing public interest concerns.

Eligibility: Open to all law students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LLB programs from recognized institutions across India.

Team Composition: Individual participation or teams of up to two members.
